general reference for sense-hat programming - Raspberry Pi Forums
bump update: feb 26 2016
have made second post relative this. has led framebuffer demo, demo reads /dev/input/event files (including joystick), , demo explores temperature measurement via 3 devices on sense-hat , /sys file. also, annotated header files 3 devices. find @ http://experix.sourceforge.net under "download..." , go sense-hat directory. follow instructions in readme.
sense-hat marvellous educational tool, since combines many interesting devices , interfaces. finding information challenge. example couldn't figure out why led program showed 'dead codes' until jdb answered question link framebuffer device source code file. program expected, , more things not have come imitating 'snake.c' sense-hat installation. want start accumulating example programs plus discussion of theory, interfaces, programming techniques, links device datasheets , other information, guide github sources, lists of library functions , ioctl's , do, , else people think useful. time being might accumulate stuff in forum thread, foresee setting dedicated web page, perhaps on sourceforge. or if exists, want contribute it. might become book, although people installing mark-11 sense-hats on 32-core 128-bit rpi17's.
