I think I broke my Arduino UNO

i got positive jumper wire , tapped on light on board labeled l.
i got ground , connected led,
i connected positive jumper wire recieving power light , powered led,

that lit led. went power led port 13, , didnt work, infact none working? checked grounds , made no difference. swapped led , didnt work.
the l light still flash when power supposed goto port 13.
i tried doing did before , getting power l light. connected ground , led didnt turn on. think broke arduino uno board doing this.


im bit upset got gift christmas , opened 3-4 days ago.

did have resistor in series led when tried run port 13?
