ok no coder extremly technical. want put basic site (well in opinion basic)

here want do:
excellent forums (critical!)
rss news main page (so dont have put news article out there every day)
some [youtube] videos

basically there new technology coming out , want create community site it. here problem...i have downloaded feels 1000 templates looking right 1 either forums crap or [youtube] extension doesnt fit in "box" so frustrated. example want theme 1 example (http://www.joomlapolis.com) change log , colors simple...simple simple simple.

can out there make me joomla lover...i desperatly need advice on simple template , point me in direction of looking for...

here joomlaboard, option:

i lean towards 1 of built-in components, not bridge because can trickier when managing template.

with bit of modification, can fit inside modules.  post here , can when choose template , having trouble fitting stuff seamlessly.
