Network host name

i have configured yun on network, cannot connect yun using  http://arduino.local. on network comes new-host.home using either wired or wireless network.  have version 1.5.3 of openwrt installed.   how can change network host name?

the name http://arduino.local when yun working standalone wifi ap (access point).

when connect "home" wifi, wifi router provides ip number , name. if want connect "home" wifi , set host name, function of wifi router (which router may not have).

so, goal in message? clear, may not able change "host name", since function of wifi router.
