Thread: Remote upgrade to 9.10 - problems

hi,
have minimal xubuntu version on remote server (it's 1,1 gb only).
i'd upgrade 9.10 there major problem - executing do-release-upgrade wants install lots of removed software (bluez, cups, games, - on 400 packages).
there way upgrade 9.04 9.10 without installing removed packages ?
i'd change repositories 9.10, upgrade existing packages (+ add new dependencies)
possible ?

i'm sorry, don't know. try removing packges, new 9.10 package manager isn't easy last one.
