Booting with USB chipset initially disabled - Raspberry Pi Forums
due power consumption of usb chipset (nearly half of idle power demand!) , operating conditions i'm dealing with, helpful if configure rpi boot usb disabled ... , bring deliberately on own @ later time.
understand issue `echo 0x0 > /sys/devices/platform/bcm2708_usb/buspower' in init scripts ... helpful if didn't power on @ all!
know of parameter can pass kernel @ boot-time this? ... or looking in compiling own kernel, configuring usb driver module, , controlling way?
