Thread: Unreadable notifications

i upgraded system today , haven't had real issues other ubuntu 1 , notifications. ubuntu 1 issue read bug fixed.

notifications, however, major issue. box notification pops shows mass of lines , unreadable/unseeable.

there way can fix quickly? never knew how relied on notifications until now. i'm on thinkpad a31.

hi, upgraded jaunty jackalope install karmic koala. running fine except 1 thing. @ random times, green or pink rectangle underneath date , time. whenever move cursor box disappears, when move cursor away reappears. goes away it's annoying. i've included picture.

computer ibm thinkpad a31, pentium 4 mobile processor, 1gb of ram, ati mobility radeon 7500, 80gb hd. 9 year old machine.
