Music serving over the internet - Raspberry Pi Forums
i have raspberry pi 2. have collection of legally owned music i'd able listen on internet, on iphone (not within wifi network @ home).
i'm trying work out best way of doing be. ideally, i'd experience match spotify closely possible - ie nice mobile client on ios, ability "offline" files, etc.
i've tried setting mpd server , icecast2 streaming, using mpod couldn't work properly.
tried installing plex server on pi, managed install, , run, couldn't web interface appear.
there easier way i'm overlooking? can xbmc (or whatever called now) serve music beyond local network?
thanks!
