Online meat thermometer using C# Webforms and CC3000

i have idea project me , friend of mine love do. after several days of research (and getting more , more confused) have decided post question here (i realizing should have done long time ago  :smiley-fat: )

i want make meat thermometer can connect  c# webform hosted on microsoft azure. have seen plethora of articles various parts of project, new development pieces don't seem connect. know arduous , ambitious project, know able achieve it. here more details project:

1) meat thermometer used check temperature of smoker connected wifi hot-spot via adafruit cc3000 breakout board. (adafruit has example call "cloud thermometer" it's local networks, , code complicated hell, not need).

2) devices see website check temperature not connected same network arduino.

3) want use microsoft azure host site have free hosting them.

are there other options, ideas, , ways can tackle project?

i appreciate help, stuck trying understand how arduino communicate webform.
