i've got 9.04. wonder different desktop, looking xp desktop. how 1 gnome desktop?

you mean having changed desktop appearance via system > preferences > appearance, or right-clicking top bar , choosing "edit menus"? believe can "revert" menu changes made through edit menu, , can choose different layout through appearance.

or having different issue?
