Thread: Why don't software companies support 64bit more?

hi all, it's got me puzzled me & friend going on over weekend & still puzzled. take renoise example (a 32bit application) not x64, yes know can force install using 32bit libs, vst plugins don't work there x64. email companys ask why don't support linux x64 on x32 (not worth it) bull when can make same software windows x64 lol (just might aswell stick x32 & server kernel on ram limit) me feels x64 should supported more in software ?

why write 2 versions of software when can write 32 bit software , run on both?
