How to take pictures and save to a sd card

so bought camera board radioshack , sd card shield seed studio , i'm trying save photos taken camera sd card. tried using example code doesn't seem work. load code, put in sd card, wave hand around camera see if take pictures, take out card , put in computer nothing shows up. if maybe have code or can work out problem great.

you need more specific this. sample code, link please.
