Thread: mpt-status cannot find disks on 7.04 Dell PE860

hi,

i'm running dell poweredge 860 ubuntu 7.04, 64 bit, kernel 2.6.20-17. unrelated reasons, can't upgrade lts 8.04 release , can't go 6.06 lts.

upgraded 6.06 lts 7.04 , mpt-status command using raid status of lsi logic sas1068 b0 raid card no longer works. following:

$ sudo mpt-status    seem have no scsi disks attached hba or have  them on different scsi_id. scsi id, run:        mpt-status -p    $ sudo mpt-status -p  nothing found, contact author
however, lsiutil seems work, need mpt-status work monitoring reasons:

i've looked on bunch of forums, couldn't find related. suggestions appreciated.
