i got new power adapter pi cause old 2a unit piece of junk struggling ~500ma
got 1 thepihut wanted quality, being paranoid vdrop across micro usb connector i have tied accessories main psu's wire, 5.35v, guess relies on pi's voltage regulator correct leaving allows higher loads
don't want run usb device @ 5.35, id want 5 5.25, figure can trim off diode low forward voltage, found 1 0.33 , since 5.35-0.33=5.02 sounds me

if know of better 1 can put in breadboard, suggestions welcome
have other stuff tied power supply, not worried 12v fan or salvaged buzzer having issue 5.35v, usb modem or ipod shuffle anther story

diode choice voltage decreasing. if used, avoid reverse voltage shortage on input. unfortunately not check diode on net, if sure in 0.33v drop good. careful, power supply drop voltage when loaded. when measure in empty condition shows higher voltage loaded.
