my site lives @ http://whiteleymatters.com/joomla. has consequence of showing /joomla in urls, i'd rather didn't think looks 'untidy'. there easy way change or need move root folder? cause problems (i'm guessing lots)?

move files root, , change configuration.php file slightly: need remove "joomla" end of $mosconfig_live_site , $mosconfig_absolute_path variables (possibly cache ones too, depending on setup). should - _might_ need fiddle image paths, depends on how you've included images: if used mosimage tags, should fine, else copy images folder (so end 1 @ joomla/images , 1 @ images) avoid fiddling articles, required if have used direct image including jce or similar.
