Problems using Sainsmart 3.2" TFT display

i assistance newbie , have lost way
i bought sainsmart 3.2" tft display , shield arduino 2560 r3
the problem when luged in, stared @ me
i tried load sketches , showing on arduino ide not compile or upload.
the problem seem in "tinyfat" library because cant load tinyfat , keep getting errors.
some questions youl
do have insert sd card card holder of tft load tinyfat?
do format card before inserting it?do have plug in arduino before compiling code?
i have searched web detailed information on , can find none
can assist?

i'd suggest remove mention of sd card or it's library sketch until display working.
