Thread: After clean install, Karmic randomly resets my laptop

hello everybody,
i'm not expierienced linux user, , user-friendliness of ubuntu, didn't have be. i've been using ubuntu sinse 7.04 minor problems, of them solvable. i'm having baffling problem 9.10 clean installation.

happens first 64-bit version i've tried. i'm working on fujitsu-siemens amilo laptop core 2 duo processors. problem 9.10 randomly restarts laptop. first time happened, running livecd. second during install, @ 90%. third, fourth , fifth times after completed installation, while surfing firefox, or when using synaptic install amsn. can't find common factor in above cases.

need point out, when "reset", mean there no error message. effect similar hardware reset.

else having problems this? or one?
