Urgent-Problem with patch

i have acrobat pro 6.0 running on mac g4 system 10.4. when opened ap6. 0 today, got message saying there patch available. hit download button. things started out ok, got error message telling me ap 6.0 open , needed quick instalation of patch continue. quit program, , went download page. began download again, .everything looked worked, when tried open application error message saying, "resource mismatch" , ap not launch.

i desperate @ point need fill in vital form no later tuesday. did try usual-rebooting, downloading again, etc, can resource mismatch error.

i thought maybe reinstall original disc, have been unable find disc. advice appreciated.

my suggestion delete acrobat 6. go adobe website ,
download patches acrobat before start. install 6.
install patches. start up.
