Thread: upgrade failure or slow upgrade?

at present system appears upgrading taking lifetime. started upgrade last night @ 8ish. when got morning system installing packages still happening cpu usage @ constant 10% on 1 cpu.

don't have indication of progress of upgrade. upgrade window blank no progress bar or anything. guess

1: has upgrade hung
2. due absence of active window awaiting further prompt me.
3. or take long time

there way see progress of install shell? and/or safe reboot?

are sure there not dialog box open behind 1 of windows waiting input you? happens, though pops in front of else.
