RFID reader (134.2kHz): help? - Raspberry Pi Forums
i'd ensmarten catflap read rfid chips in cats. far can tell, animal id chips use 134.2khz chips, rather more common 13.56mhz chips , readers.
there few 134.2 khz readers available in uk @ reasonable price. 1 i've found ri-stu-mrd2, says supports ttl communications on serial connection (sci), or "a usb interface available , requires few external components."
ideas on how connect reader rpi? board claims runs @ 2.7v 5.5v, i'll fine reading sci data straight gpio pins?
if knows of cheaper 134.2khz rfid reader, please shout!
appreciated!
