Text box not displaying

marking pdf using text box tool in adobe 7.0.9, saving pdf. mac user using adobe 8.1.2 opens pdf , cannot see text box tool.

if open same pdf on pc running adobe 8 can.

why can't see text box tool on mac?

are saying don't have tool @ or don't see text added using tool?

more importantly, using adobe acrobat or using adobe reader?

(you mentioned "adobe" name of company not particular application)

are sure they're using adobe product @ , not opening in mac preview?
