Thread: can't boot karmic, not even from live cd

hi. upgraded jaunty karmic few hours ago. buggered everything. can't boot without pressing escape , choosing older kernel. after boot older kernel, mouse not work. can imagine mission write message. downloaded iso-image (without using mouse) in hope can save system through live cd ... same problem, won't boot. seems dead end street. please help. i'm not linux geek, don't use bunch of jargon. know terminal though.
acer travelmate 2450 ati 200m if matters.

can mouse going? else seems work. after that, can remove latest kernel synaptic? heeelp
