Advice on Offline and online home automation ?

hello guys
i created first home automation web based think of making both online , offline. know had make arduino act web server accessible other network also. don't know start ?
guys suggestion more appreciated college project .

honestly, can't figure out you're asking or how project have different 1 want make.

please describe have now, want , how it's different, , mean "offline" , "online" - colloquial, not technical terms.
