Units error when exporting to STEP

i importing data cadds 5 parts acrobat 3d. export data step, , import step files catia v5. scale off when make measurements in catia v5 (the unit value smaller should be). measuring in inches in acrobat 3d , catia. scale in acrobat 3d pdf file according measurements. don't think problem catia, because of other step imports catia fine.

i not find setting in acrobat 3d change export units step inches. when try exporting iges acrobat 3d , import catia, scale good, not when export step.

i using acrobat 3d version 8.1.1 on windows 2000. bug in acrobat 3d, or there setting somewhere have missed?
