confused ,
ihave had reinstall ubuntu due not having given enough space when reinsalled it,even though thought had divided space between , windows instead wiped windows xp. have reinstalled windows xp in process of trying tor einstall ubuntu 9.04 when partition dialogue choose manual option , option of free disk space , choose , adialogue box comes ,this point confused; can 1 help? previuos ubuntu have installed { had faults }is still there can wiped free space , if head in , should stick trying reinsatall ubuntu,

golden rule install of ubuntu not accept 2.3gb room install (it's called 2.3gb hell) - 10gb nice size start off with, 1gb swap area.

used ubuntu, learn how grow / shrink partitions needs change.

can safely remove previous ubuntu install, or over-write new install.
