how to stop image in template of reloading - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi all,

i'm new in making own templates , i've got issue internet explorer:
in template i'm using image, ie keeps reloading image each time browse
through site.
mozilla firefox doesn't reload image, result can jump 1 page another
without reloading.

i expect image cached on pc next time it's picked faster.

any ideas on how solve works on kind of browser ?

check ie isn't checking newer versions of page every time visits page. might cahce issue.

tools>internet options....

general tab (ie7 anyway), browsing history, settings> check newer versions... mine set auto, seems work fine purposes, prob make sure it's not set every time
