Confused about ground

i'm real newbie electronics , i'm starting first project uno r3. have rgb led , mini laser , 7 switches, of need connected ground. however, i'm confused whether can connect inputs , outputs to/from arduino same ground pin? also, how many components maximum each ground pin?
