AcroPdf Active X control with Reader 9.0

hi guys,
we have been developing windows .net based solution displays pdf files. have been using acropdf.dll active x component further launches acrord32.exe.

observations:
1. upon installation of reader 9.0, no longer see acrord32.exe in task manager.
2. when exit application, see error message "cannot read memory @ ...."

questions:
1. need newer version of active x control? if yes, new version from?
2. how has adobe addressed issues of memory management in reader 9.0?

when install adobe reader, installs activex along - nothing install. assume uninstalled other versions of reader when did - yes?

what "memory management issues" referring to?
