Thread: problem with battery usage

i installed xubuntu 9.04 laptop. how come eats battery in ~2 hours power management settings on, when use vista 3.5h. appreciate tips tweak 1 out.

this might happening because of hdd i/o -
set disk "noatime" option (/etc/fstab) such there's less writing disk.
