Thread: [karmic] using upstart to execute script before NetworkManager starts?


hi, on 9.04 had line in rc.local saying "ifconfig wlan0 hw ether ..." change mac address on every boot. command has executed before networkmanager starts because acts otherwise.
best way achieve on karmic? adding rc.local doesn't work anymore because networkmanager started @ point. i've never dealt upstart before. have somehow ifconfig command execute before networkmanager starts, can help?
