Thread: ACPI with old bios can`t get work

hello!

i`m running netfinity 3500 ubuntu server jaunty.
problem bios 98 , writes : can`t older 2000 , have use acpi=force.
gave grub acpi=force can`t load root.
loading, please wait...
// takes aprox. 30 secs
gave waiting root device. common problems:
- boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
- check rootdelay
- check root
- missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)
alert! /dev/md0 not exist. dropping shell!

had happen - don't know solution, arch linux installed fine on it.
