Thread: 111 connection refused in add/remove?

the add/remove programs application, upon trying reload list of available apps, keeps giving me multiple 111 errors. why refuse connect? also, cant seem install opera or ubuntu-restricted-extras package, latter because "cannot installed on computer type" despite installation working on previous install.

edit: wont install @ all, because computer type "i386" whatever means. did mention worked before?
