Thread: 9.10 Server Upgrade/Install a nightmare

well tried upgrade system 9.04 9.10 installed fine when restarted complete disaster.
1st grub give error no disc if wait continues boot.
2nd not work encrypted disc has passphrase, no matter typed in not unlock drives boot.
3rd not create mapper partitions encrypted these nice errors not load partitions in /etc/fstab
4th if have login rest assure display hosed , mine was. fixed gconf error after login boots login screen.
5th using nano hoses system period have reboot in order control.
6th same damn thing happen me on fresh install appears upgrade correct version excuse french sucks @$$

go on **** im tired. understand initial launches, betas, rc's when release product god sakes let install or not ready called stable. didn't sign beta testing. studying hosed tonight should not take 2 days install o/s 1 this.

this ubuntu's (vista) big fan of distro please 9.10 hell on earth. on 5 dell laptops on none of them wireless card detected. after installed ndiswrapper niswrapper not work either. ms corefonts don't intsall either. had use usb drive install 9.10 because install cd's stopped 26 % installation.
shame see promising ubuntu fade away peoblems this.
