installed retropie , noticed on games not full screen. there need set or supposed run that?

i read can press x on keyboard rom loads , change video display output. or can edit

/etc/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg

, under emulator want fullscreen (ex. nes) says "runcommand.sh 1" (without quotes) change 1 2.
