Sending Data Packet using XBee

hi guys,
a have little question.
now have arduino uno,wireless shield , 2 xbees want this,
i read sensors data arduino , want send through xbee using wireless shield , xbees on computer run xctu program. @ xctu console part not see data sent xbee unexperience these arduino part (i working web developer many years)anyway.

do have guidline? or how send data packet xbee

the x-ctu application great configuring xbees. crap real application listen to/talk them.

why want use it?

it can not send/receive packets xbees. can send/receive data in @ mode only.
