Spidev and second bus - Raspberry Pi Forums

i running updated raspbian jessie. use second (auxilliary) spi bus. can using pigpio setting bit in call spi_open. using spidev if call open(1,2) gives file not found error. suspect looking /dev/spidev1.2.
think spidev using came jessie - need more recent version? there way check version have?

i've lost track of situation raspberry pi linux spi driver (it should spi-bcm2853).

there patches add support auxiliary bus. i'm not sure if incorporated driver yet.

spidev uses linux driver, not work until linux driver works.

raspberrypi
