copy public ssh key - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi there,

i've done before, can't work out did, , permission denied. command trying:

code: select all

cat ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub | ssh username@remote_host "mkdir -p ~/.ssh && cat >> ~/.ssh/authorized_keys"

or there easier way this?

have tried both root , not root.

hard if don't know of 3 command gives error.
