Thread: Sound issues in 9.10

hello, i've upgraded ubuntu 9.10 9.04 , audio distorted when turn above whisper. had same problem in 9.04 , i've been trying fix months no avail. experience same thing in opensuse 11.1 not in windows xp. running compaq sr1629uk, specification can found here.

this may work worked me distorted sound in 8.04
go sound mixer , reduce volume of pcm

if driver thing sure wont long before fix out.
