Proximity and authentication
hi!
i turn light above gates of guarage turn on when car (or wife's) approaches. doing rfid not seem working in case because distance small. somewhere between 50 , 100 meters.
the ideal of cource have powerless tag in cars put powered ardiono micro controller.
can give piece of advice on kind of radio sensor can used in case?

50-100 difficult range. why won't regular motion-activated light work? see them on several garages round here because respond passing traffic in street.
