itemRenderers documentation

hi, all,

livedocs wonderful resource here's way perhaps improve them. wrestled problem , wondered if can make life easier itemrenderers. many of start livedocs when developing flex , in experience, there needs tad more of internal workings of itemrenderers.


i built flex app using adg had 2 columns itemrenderers. 1 in particular painful build because of "recycling" issue. far know, livedocs don't mention fact itemrenderers render dozen or rows @ time. various articles on flex developer center (as many blogs) talked this. beginner, won't obvious why rows magically repeat ("recycle") values. many hours spent wondering being done wrong when little bit of heads-up in livedocs users. if livedocs contain info on issue already, maybe articles need little more obvious. once knew search on ("itemrenderer recycling"), find information , post questions flexcoders.


also, maybe docs point more in-depth articles on adobe's site (such peter ent's great primer here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/articles/itemrenderers_pt1.html).
