Wireless power bar?
i most, hate wires , connect arduino 8ch relay board need 9 wires causes nothing headaches when want clean presentable.
so thinking, , think came solution, wireless!
does work?
the main controller has mega2560 , power bar has atmega328p nano. each gets ir sensor , load relay sketch on atmega328p , program mega2560 send signal atmega328p fire relay code held on when necessary.
for example, sketch has schedules power, remove code fired in schedule , replace code send signal atmega328p trigger code use in alarm procedure.
if viable solution cheaper connects, cable , labour, not mention super clean.
i have couple of adafruit 157 ir sensors, trick?

whats ir sensor decent distance , cheap of course?
