SMS & Call controlled I/O, Easy for some! - Raspberry Pi Forums

new , green toward gear most, drawn toward technology because never had when younger! interest in raspberry pi leaning toward necessity company deal consumer ripping me off blind!

project involves assembling little board suitable 3g modem option capable of talking australian gsm networks.

need "device" have 4 x output contacts (n/o-c-n/c)
1 of 4 outs driven incoming call can latch or pulse depending on user setup. (c.l.i dependent via user list of numbers)
balance 3 of 4 outs sms driven "#on & #off command"
outputs remember last state after power cycle.

4 x inputs (v/free) capable of triggering message either open/closed state. (1 input = 2 x messages@ 32 characters each & user programmable)

inputs trigger instant messaging per state of each input maximum of 4 users per input. users contained in user c.l.i list. 100 potential users call in (out1 relay) operation.

device run on 8 - 32 volts dc plus have backup battery if supply off momentary. backup charged via input dc supply?

6 x indication leds
green = power
tri led (red=no network/yellow=modem busy/green=ready standby)
4 x red per relay status

firstly, appreciate can or assist information or direction toward dilemma, secondly, thank in advance showing patience! appreciate this. no.... cant write code, i'm finding hard navigating forum let alone understanding 2% of whats being discussed, know want , if 1 person replies, better none!
