Recording button state with how much time it has taken to be in that state

hey everybody,
first of merry christmas , happy new year :)

i need code record state of momentary switch if high or low , record how time on high state , low state.

for example need shown in serial monitor:

button on 4000ms
button off 20000ms
button on 3000ms
button off 100000ms
button on 40000ms
button off 100ms
button on 3670ms


you ,but how shall write code it?
