7-segments display common anode

hi, there way can common anode(not cathode, know how plug one) 7-segment display work between digital pins , ground pin? tried if common cathode 1 didnt work, ideas?

you have understand terms mean.
anode , cathodes electrodes of diode. diode (leds nothing diodes emit light when current passes thru) let current pass when vak > 0 (ideal diode).

for 7-seg display, either anodes (for common anode) of diodes or cathodes (for common cathode) of diodes tied together:

a 7-seg display in nothing 7 diodes have 1 common pin.
