hello,
i'll explain problem

wanted make "low cost" surveillance camera old rpi b had, since bought new 1 (rpi2) rpib getting lot of dust

i've assembled everything, installed motionpie on rpi b..

looks power isn't enough power both "ethernet , usb ports" of pi , camera ir leds
rpi keeps rebooting because eth0 wasn't receiving signal, i've checked logs, looks ethernet port has no power after 30/60 secs of usage!
i've tried removing ethernet cable , using tplink wlan adapter (the 1 modmypi.com, dont' remember name) problem persist, rpi first connect wifi wlan adaptor loses power pie reboots itself

"reboot if no connection" feature motionpie, after xx seconds reboots system if there no ip assigned system

i've tried removing 1 ir led, worked bit... after time got same problem
i've tried regulate ir led intensity, doesn't work @ lowest intensity!


i've removed both ir leds, camera connected, works... think problem must "not eouthg power both led , pi b"

bit disappointed, can give me advice better power supply? (if problem, because don't understand)

2 x 3w high-power 850 infrared leds:
3w 900ma, 6w 1.8a. pi wants 800ma@5v run, little 2a power supply underpowered. need looking @ at least 3a psu, , preferably higher. i've not used it, anker chargers (eg http://www.amazon.co.uk/release-anker-p ... b00vti8k9k) fit bill , others have reported them working.

i'm surprised there 1.8a of spare capacity on internal 3.3v power supply under circumstances (input 5v) - i'd modmypi's design little optimistic in regard, although 1 of reviews says had working (the other reporting power supply issues!)
