Thread: half life 2 episode two no HUD

i'm playing hl2 episode 2, , don't have of health info or gun changing yellow boxes. think called huds. present in other hl2 games. using wine 1.1.29, kubuntu 9.10, , nvidia 9600.

believe else has had same problem

edit: apparently, if set dxlevel @ 81 works fine, , have through command line, how do this?

aah worked out, added this
-dxlevel 81
launch properties within steam, fixed
