Thread: 9.10 Install on fresh hardrive problem

hey gang!

old hd running 9.04 started crash replaced , installed 9.10. install went fine, rebooted , got , error message: no such device (long string of code) press key continue. grub loads , looks os loaded doesn't seem recognize hd being there.

, yet, bios setup recognizes new drive , disk check 9.10 disc shows no defects.

i'm going burn new copy of 9.04 , see if loads.

9.04 installed fine , new hd boots great.

think might bad image? maybe i'll wait bit before trying 9.10 upgrade.
