Analog Input over 5V

hi guys,

i have short question analog inputs of arduino. have following situation:
how can detect voltages of divider? i'm higher accepted 5v , have condition no further resistors used in a0-line.

do have idea, how detect signal higher 5v. when use further resistors, manipulate signal...

would nice, if has idea :-)

detect?  don't need detect.  if calculate value of resistors won't go on 5v.

if you're not of input voltage, include zenner diode in parallel lower resistor.
