Thread: Weird Desktop/Gconf & symlink problem

i mount stuff on nfs. desktop folder symlinked /mnt/htpc/user/desktop , when set up, there no problems.
1 day, desktop shows home folder! checked in gconf-editor, , found in apps -> nautilus -> preferences -> desktop_is_home_dir. if changed setting, nothing happened!

after upgrading karmic, same. tried change above setting, save , reboot. changed again. , things happen! desktop empty!

can give me how desktop back? use alot!
