Is there a separate window in a .pdf for adding a note or comment?

i'm sending samples of work potential client, , provide information they're looking at.

rather including info in cover note, i'd put in text box on same page/screen of .pdf, similar notes view in powerpoint.

is there way in acrobat pro? if not, i'd suggest new feature next version.

there is. it's called "comments". go comments menu , click show comment & markup toolbar. try different commenting tools , see 1 need. think sticky note more-or-less want. can set different options how looks , behaves options menu of comment , more general options under edit-preferences-commenting.
